I started my progressive career in desktop, server, hardware, software, network support, security engineering and administration. I used that foundation to expand my abilities into the Manufacturing IT industry as a IT Support Manager for several Engineering Buildings. This experience provided technical growth and knowledge because I not only managed the day to day client support, and network infrastructure, but also designed and implemented services for on-site use with our highly technical customers. This experience lead me to my latest position, managing the infrastructure strategy for Fords plants globally. In this role, I wear a lot of hats, from researching technology that will give us a 10x improvement, testing and deploying this infrastructure, to partnering with my Manufacturing Engineering and Security peers to close OT security gaps. My project management skills allowed me to plan and implement all infrastructure deployments in the Plant. These services included hosting, networking, IIot/data collectors, and handheld devices. Additionally, I manage a staff of highly technical individuals that really pushed the limits of technology.Moving forward I would like to utilize my background and knowledge in Manufacturing infrastructure IT to help other industries to move to the next level of technology.
