Lead developer for client side multi protocol network analyzer. Actively participated in the merging of acquired technology into company product line as well as the direction, design, and development of Finisar's flagship Xgig Analyzer software. Managed defects, schedules, and provided status updates for ongoing projects.• Actively participated in the development of the GTX-A multi protocol analyzer from its waning days as a 2-port local hardware analyzer through its evolution as a scalable multi-protocol 64-port distributed network analyzer rebranded as the Xgig Analyzer. It seamlessly integrates with Finisar's flagship SAN monitoring tool NetWisdom.• Member of a small team of developers architecting the future of analysis tools with the goal of migrating away from Windows based platforms toward a platform independent solution targeting mainly Windows, Solaris, and Linux customers.• Wrote a client/server application that allows network managers to remotely navigate and monitor multiple networks using serial interface network taps. The application is capable of managing numerous taps and was implemented as a short-term, yet vital, solution before installation of an Ethernet port directly onto the taps.• Named on two patents while related to the design of a UI histogram control for Surveyor, an Ethernet protocol analyzer, that allows a user to navigate through 80GB of trace data.• Designed and implemented a new UI for a VOIP plug-in to Surveyor, which aids in troubleshooting QOS problems for VOIP networks.
