• Designed and implemented an application to allow users to control Hamilton's Microlab 500 (pipettor) and Modular Valve Positioner. This application was created from the ground up (C++) providing users the ability to daisy chain up to 16 instruments together to perform complex liquid handling procedures.• Capitalized on the aforementioned application and developed a TCP server application with a light-weight UI to control the ML500 for accurate and repeatable dosing for test animals. The application was designed specifically for Merck & Co. and is interfaced by a networked application produced by Xybion Med. Systems.• Wrote a hardware simulator for a new liquid pipetting robot that is currently under development. The simulator allows a user to specify an instrument configuration and a procedure to perform. The user can then watch the progress of the procedure run.
