Scott D. Peyton, PE is Stantec's Water Resources Sector Leader. He oversees growth and delivery of projects that include Flood Risk Management, Dam and Levee Safety, Coastal Resilience, Ecosystem Restoration & Nature Based Solutions, Power and Energy Transition, Watershed Management, and Water Supply Planning and Management.His work history includes a variety of water resource planning and design projects. He has direct project experience with surface water flooding, heavy civil engineering, including dam, levee, and dredging planning and design, and ecosystem and river restoration and enhancement projects. He has worked on over 50 dam removals and over 150 miles of river assessments and restorations. He has been involved in all levels of a project’s life cycle including conceptual level planning, preliminary and final design, permitting, assistance during construction, post construction monitoring, and decommissioning.
