Duties, Accomplishments, and Related Skills:PROBLEM-SOLVING. Resolute Castle is an annual engineer exercise conducted in Europe to exercise troop-construction capabilities among US Army, Joint Partner (USAF and USN), and NATO Partner military engineers. Executed rapid and effective problem-solving to develop consistent processes and standards for project design, construction materials procurement, host nation permitting, project development and management, planning conferences, and real property management. Routinely developed and implemented new processes in order to improve the efficiency of the exercise. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT. Conducted regular project planning conferences and in progress review checks across eleven separate US and NATO partners, including Army Reserve, National Guard, Air Force National Guard, Navy Seabees, Romanian, Polish, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Denmark, and Norwegian forces to ensure proper project management. Managed unit assignments from a wide range of construction elements with varying capabilities to ensure maximum efficiency from construction efforts. Aligned project assignments with unit training requirements, based on assigned Mission Essential Tasks (METs) for each unit type.MATERIALS PROCUREMENT. Responsible for procuring all construction materials required for assigned projects, a $6 million annual budget. In total, managed 92 orders placed against 65 projects from 2019 to 2021, including conducting quality control on all specifications. Reduced late and incorrect materials in order to improve effectiveness of construction efforts. RELATIONSHIP BUILDER. Developed positive relationships with host nations and participating elements in order to ensure continued support for the exercise. Responsible for communicating Resolute Castle missions up to the two-star general officer level and corresponding civilian authorities in the Ministry of the Interior.
