Prepress Manager responsible for all aspects of prepress, including mac production, proofing, DTP and color management for both Litho, Digital and Silkscreen presses. Brought and keep the prepress department up to date with the modern workflow that is currently in use today. That includes the current Prinergy, Colorgate and Caldera workflows, Adobe Creative Cloud software, Epson/Oris proofing system and Direct to Plate output. I believe in producing quality work in an efficient, effective and safe manner. I also believe in building a good team to support me and the company by surrounding myself with skilled, quality individuals who are team minded as well. Additionally, I handle light IT duties including computer maintenance/trouble shooting, software upgrades, some basic networking. I am also the in-house G7 professional and maintain all proofers and presses to G7 certified status. I wear many hats during the course of my day and am continuously trying to improve myself, my team and our operation.

Started as small press operator. Transitioned to a prepress operator position. Advanced to Prepress Supervisor responsible for all aspects of prepress production, design, mac production and plating.

Prepress production/designer for In-house print facility. Did creative work, prepress production including darkroom work, type setting, stripping, plating. Volunteered to take the mac operator position when the technology first appeared. I also worked in other areas as needed included running small duplicator presses, trimmers, folders, collators, etc. Whatever was needed.
