• Creation of bill of materials, work breakdown structures, and detailed network proposal diagrams to assist in quoting of client projects. • Creation of Detailed Design and Implementation Documents (DDID) that include overview of project, detailed physical and logical design network Visios, and configuration scripts. • Responsible for implementing and or integrating network gear for Venture Technologies’ enterprise and government clients. • Creation of Post Implementation Documentation (PID) that include overview of project, as-built detailed physical and logical design network Visios, and final device configurations and state information.• Design and implementation of multiple enterprise clients’ WAN Edge; Network Core, Distribution and Access layers; Including layer 3 and layer 2 paths to DR locations. • Lead Architect and Implementation Engineer responsible for the design, scheduling of internal and external resources, implementation, and cutover of global redundant/failover Internet Access Points (IAP) for a large DoD agency involving 3 IAP locations in the U.S. , Japan , and Germany; providing 3 alternate paths for internet services in the event of a regional service outage. Project consisted of the design and implementation of a parallel IAP stack including new internet circuits and routers, public zone switching, high availability cluster of firewalls, edge cores, MPLS routers, and multiple DMZ zone switches.• Architect and Implementation Team Lead for a multi-year Global IP, VLAN reassignment, and re-architecting of layer 3 boundaries for a large DoD agency to comply with DoD network security requirements. Responsibilities include scheduling internal and external technical resources, communicating with district and global level Chiefs of Staff for project status updates, challenges, and business impact of work to be performed. Project consists of 3 global areas (Americas, Europe, and Pacific), 75 districts, and over 300 campuses.
