About Scott Pollock

I am a visionary and audience-oriented leader with a passion for driving transformational engagement experiences for arts and cultural organizations, as well as the operational systems and do-it-together (DIT) strategies that make them possible.15+ years of progressive professional experience working in a variety of contemporary arts, cultural and environmental venues, alongside community stakeholders and activists, and in concert with policy makers, grassroots organizers and civic leaders at the regional, national and international level. The intersections of nature and culture, and the tangible and intangible entanglements of each, inspire me. Community-focussed and impact-driven organizations drive me. Recognized for innovation in arts administration with an Open Fellowship at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information. Currently residing on the homeland of the Dakhóta Oyáte (Dakota People), unfairly ceded in the Treaties of 1837 & 1851, who stewarded it for millennia, and continue to care for this place.
