I lead a global multi-talented team of over 50 employees and 3rd party consultants who were tasked with building the next generation of AI enabled Legal Platform services.Together and with our trusted business partners we built in 6 months an all new Azure Cloud hosted business application platform that is highly integrated and interoperable with many popular legal workflow, document management, and productivity solutions used by lawyers and legal professionals today.

I lead the Architects in the Practice and Research solutions division and was responsible for the architecture and technology stack that supports the wide portfolio of projects/products developed for legal customers in the law firms, corporations, the courts and the government.A key responsibility for me was to provide thought leadership and innovation to solving customer workflows and research needs. I was often involved in catalyst projects, proof of concepts, pre-sales engagements with customers and RFP assembly, overall quality and debugging systems, security reviews, customer support issues, vendor relations, and performance and scale work.

Architected and built the search engine that powers Westlaw - Thomson Reuters flagship Legal Research Application. I partnered with R&D and business staff to build a best of breed AI enabled search engine using document meta data, natural language search, legal classification systems, and aggregated user behavior.I also collaborated and established the core platform architecture along with creating a first of its kind caching and parallel execution framework using Java Concurrency to achieve the fastest possible search response times.
