Perform routine maintenance on the AAVs including servicing, repairing, adjusting and testing its devices, moving parts, and equipment for optimal operation. Determine the type of maintenance needed and when. Make repairs and replace components using hand tools (including but not limited to; wrenches, sockets, prybars, shovels, pickaxes) and power tools (including but not limited to; pneumatic tools, air compressors, drills, drill presses, grinders, buffers).Troubleshoot for operating errors and determine best course of action.Inspect mechanical and electrical equipment for damage, defects, and wear. Responsible for parts inventory and tool maintenance. Communicate with crewman and maintainers to coordinate repairs.Maintain and repair PRC 152 and PRC 154 Radios and their corresponding electrical components.Responsible for crew of 15 Marines by assuring tasks are understood and completed.Network with foreign militaries to ensure goals of the US Government and cooperative Governments are met.
