Western Medical has expanded its scope and is utilizing the expertise gained by over 2 decades of healthcare experience in the US and China to enter into exciting new areas. Our new project is Soteria-360: a physician driven, cutting edge technology supported new approach to enhancing senior care. Like all the healthcare projects I have worked on for 20+ years, the Soteria-360 platform relies on caring physicians willing to embrace a new approach to improving care for patients, providing comfort for their families, and in line with healthcare macro trends. The industry and technology experts who have joined our team dramatically accelerated our rollout, allowing us to debut the Platform in the next few weeks making this the most exciting project I have worked on in years. Watch for my posts in coming weeks as I solicit feedback and welcome physician and senior care owner collaborators. In the meantime, with China fully reopening, we are looking for local partners for our Chinese companies including IWS (sports medicine with a focus on Race Medicine); Ruiwen (fertility, egg freezing and surrogacy); and the China Healthcare Advisory Group (consulting with a focus on China health market entry; orthopedics/sports medicine; fertility; and senior care) so that my 20 years of expertise, experience and connections can be fully utilized. Prior to founding Western Medical, I was the President of Salus Surgical Group and was responsible for developing and managing the most profitable outpatient surgical centers in the United States. The Salus model focused on physician partnerships that delivered outstanding care using state of the art devices and technology resulting in extraordinary patient satisfaction and robust revenue.In 2007 I was appointed the official “Emergency medical services provider” by the United States Olympic Committee for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.I started my career as a lawyer at Gibson Dunn and ultimately (after practicing at 2 smaller firms) started my own law firm in 1994. By the time I left the firm to run Salus the Firm had grown to 25 lawyers.I am not afraid to tackle large complex tasks and work hard to achieve my goals.
