About Scott Ritchie

Working experience in embedded software development for real-time systems using Linux/RTOS while working at Damon Motors Inc. I have used the CAN, I2C, SPI communication protocols to test communication with various chips, or to send messages to real pieces of hardware. Have implemented a provided IPC protocol used to send CAN messages between Linux & RTOS. Was also responsible for the set-up of a static code analysis tool to run on the cloud, and automated via TeamCity.While doing my undergrad at Simon Fraser University I was also did research in the ixLab where I assisted Phd student Amir Jahanlou with researching/prototyping UI/UX designs for a video editing tool. This work was where I received the Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA).Experienced in various languages including C, C++, Python, Web Development Languages (HTML, CSS, JS), Node.js and React.js.
