At Easterseals Military & Veteran Services, we believe every Veteran deserves to thrive in our community after military service. Our belief is that no man nor woman who has served our country during any era, in any branch of service, no matter the category of military discharge, should ever be in need of employment, housing or health benefits. We are focused on building meaningful relationships with veterans and their families to understand their life goals and then connect them with existing resources (government and non-government services) within the community to improve their quality of life. We serve veterans from all backgrounds, from homeless, addicted or dealing with legal issues, to community leaders and we utilize an individualized approach where we not only help the veteran solve their current problems but also encourage the veteran to learn strategies to successfully and independently address future challenges in new and constructive ways.

As the Chief, Medical Service and Automated Data Processing Applications Coordinator (ADPAC), he had program responsibility for the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VISTA), Ambulatory Care Data Capture Coordinator for the Medical Center as well as the utilization of stand-alone personal computer programs for the Chief, Medical Service. Responsible for analyzing, administering, coordinating and monitoring Medical Service operating programs as they relate to Automated Data Processing (ADP) programs and systems. Additionally, he provided assistance to the Chief in planning and reviewing operations for the various centralized and local ADP operational and reporting systems, advising the Chief and Assistant Chief, their section chiefs and employees, and personnel from other Services through the Medical Center on these systems. Primary duties included: serving as the primary resource for development, management, and analysis ensuring all policies and procedures related to the PCMM program are implemented and in compliance with VA regulations. Collecting and analyzing information from the ADP program's impact on workload of day-to-day operations and recommending staffing re-allocations and adjustments as needed; served as database manager and interpreter of software packages; compiled, organized, validated and analyzed computer generated output so results may be used by management for detection of trends, internal audits and evaluations; and received, reviewed, and evaluated all requests for access to data. He served as the primary resource for development, management, and analysis of ADP as it relates to collecting and analyzing information from the ADP program's impact on workload of day-to-day operations and recommended staffing re-allocations and adjustments needed.

Daily responsibilities included facilitation of product acquisition, communication and enduring accuracy and collection of essential data. Responsibilities also included the provision of innovative financial and sales solutions, as well as addressing member’s needs with regards to financial security. Required to demonstrate extensive knowledge of departmental products with ability to troubleshoot financial issues and delegate and refer to appropriate support staff.

Chief Master Sergeant Scott A. Robinson was the Superintendent, Air Force Dental Operations Division, Air Force Medical Operations Agency, San Antonio, Texas. He oversaw the execution of AF/SG policies supporting AF expeditionary capabilities/security strategy and provided expert consultative leadership in support of over 39,000 personnel, 76 Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), and a $6.4B budget. Chief Robinson was the functional advisor to 9 MAJCOM SGs/82 dental clinic commanders and superintendents AF-wide. In this capacity, he established policy and monitored outsourcing of $24M annually in dental care/services to civilian sector and overseas AF compliance with Tricare Management Authority Oral Health initiative. Chief Robinson applied force management policies/programs and monitored staffing of 2,988 personnel in 82 dental clinics. Additionally he ensured strict dental treatment facility compliance with civilian/military regulatory commissions and was responsible for scope of practice determinations and spearheading/monitoring process improvement events. He also served as the functional advisor to 8 MAJCOM CMEFs/78 Medical Group CCs/Superintendents on dental ops issues. Chief Robinson has held a variety of positions during his tours ranging from an instructor for the Dental Laboratory Specialist Course, NCOIC, Base Dental Lab, NCOIC, Fixed Wax-up section, NCOIC, Fixed Partial Denture Department, Area Dental Lab Superintendent, Dental Squadron Superintendent, Aeromedical-Dental Squadron Superintendent, Medical Group Superintendent (Deployed), interim Command Chief, and MAJCOM Functional Manager. Chief Robinson is a Certified Dental Technician and has been an Examiner for the National Board of Certification of Dental Laboratory Technicians, an advisor to the Orthodontic Specialty Board, a Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician, a member of the Base Honor Guard and has been awarded the AETC Master Instructor Badge.
