With almost 20 years in the industry, I have worked as a Web Manager, Digital Project Manager, Team Lead, Graphic Designer, Website Designer, Front-End Developer and Email Developer. I have also worked extensively with marketing and event companies to create digital and print solutions across APAC.As the Web Manager at Online Marketing Gurus, my role involves managing a team of UI/UX designers and web developers across a range of website projects for clients across the world. This role has me problem-solving daily, connecting with clients and staff to ensure deadlines are met, budgets are maintained and both parties are updated on progress and achieving their goals. My role also includes managing the department's traffic, creating and maintaining timelines, ensuring that projects are delivered to standard, leading QA sessions, quoting new projects and providing mentorship and guidance to team members.During my time as Team Lead at Orion Creative, I oversaw a studio of brilliant graphic designers, web developers and content producers in servicing clients large and small across APAC. In a leadership position at the studio, the role included overseeing and approving the work that was produced, providing guidance and advice to staff, leading feedback sessions, scoping and quoting projects, hiring and onboarding new staff members, and account managing some of our largest clientele.Prior to that I have worked as a graphic design, web designer and front-end developer, allowing me to understand the challenges that these positions face and insights into how to manage and lead staff members in these roles.
