I have professional experience starting in 1998 as a software designer, design manager and teacher. Since 2003 I’ve worked in enterprise software design & development.I have spent over fifteen years managing UX designers and researchers at IBM, Oracle and at a design consultancy.I am passionate about creating great products that meet business and user needs, leading both UX and product development staff to these fundamental goals.I enjoy giving back to the UX community and those interested in design and have taught full-length courses on Information Architecture at Cabrillo Community College and UC Santa Cruz Extension. I also love to guest lecture on User Experience and have done so virtually, and in person at Santa Clara University (to MBA students) and Saint Mary’s College of California (for undergrads).
