Work in various positions including construction supervision of work crews for marine dock maintenance and dredging contracts for federal, state, local, and private entities.Establish and implement work schedules and adjust labor allocations to meet project deadlines.Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedules for assigned marine work. Review and understand project specifications to support job set up activities. Work with crews, field engineers and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on job site. Inspect work to ensure that installations, materials and equipment comply with construction contract documents.Perform construction services on full scale pile removal/replacement and dock reconstruction projects.Serve as Deck Hand for dredging projects including clean sediment mining, maintenance dredging, new construction dredging, and complex environmental remediation projects with varying levels of contamination.Certified to perform all welding processes including stick, tig, inner-shield, dual-shield, hard-facing, and sub-arc for marine and land-based applications.
