• Increased NWAC’s educational offerings from less than fifteen classes a year to nearly two hundred.• Conceived and actualized the nationally recognized Going Deep Workshop series for continuing avalanche education. • Cultivated the NWAC/CAIC partnership for a co-development of innovative forecasting app—this is the first, and largest project between two major avalanche centers. • Forged a strong working relationship between forecasters and the non-profit, developed NWAC’s Professional Observer Program to augment existing forecast data, and played a key role in the layout and design of our forecasting products. • Established NWAC as the lead agency for Northwest Snow and Avalanche Workshop (NSAW), and in the first year grew participation from 430 to 650. • Leveraged programs to establish new revenue streams—NSAW, Going Deep, Pro Observers, and the Awareness program.

Seattle

• Established a long-range strategy to create a sustainable solution for public lands access for US mountain guides.• Provided leadership in developing a program to solve US access issues of foreign guides as part of the AMGA’s reciprocal agreement to IFMGA membership.• Worked directly with federal, state, and local land managers to promote credential-based access for mountain guiding.• Successfully managed the organization’s legal and functional conversion to a cooperative in Washington State.• Secured a $25K USDA grant for cooperative business development.
