Checking outside customer publications for errors, then perparing them for printing on a four-color press. Designing advertisements for customers and delivering them to the sales people, as well as designing various layouts for publications.

I was hired into the Pioneer Group as an Ad Designer because of my design skills and my previous bosses recommendation. In this job I designed ads for the daily newspaper and several other publications. I worked on a Macintosh G3, G4, & G5 in the Multi-Ad Creator and PMP. I also used the standard graphic design programs for making custom graphics. As of July 1st, 2005 I was promoted up to Assistant Management; with this promotion I now paginate several papers on a daily basis as well as continue to create advertisements. On Sept. 8th, 2008, I was promoted to Page Designer in the Editorial department. I now work solely on Pagination for the weekly and daily papers.

I was in charge of programming the Cadillac News website (www.cadillacnews.com) as well as designing all advertisements online. I also set up the TV Guide and plated it every Wednesday. When I was not running HTML I was researching revenue methods and composing advertising for the actual newspaper.
