Scott brings over 19 years of construction project management experience to the team. He has consistently delivered projects on time and within budget and is known for his attention to detail and world class customer service. Over the past 15 years, Scott has lead DEB Construction’s team to focus on technically challenging projects regardless of market segment. Scott also personally manages many projects. Scott has specialized experience delivering high profile projects requiring extensive detail and sophistication. Trained as a Civil Engineer, he holds an EIT and is a LEED Accredited Professional.Bank of America AdelantoAdelanto, CaliforniaThe Bank of America Adelanto project, was the first LEED Platinum Certified banking center in the country. The focus from day one on this project was to build the most sustainable and efficient structure used in the history of banking institutions. Our focus during construction was to ensure that we ordered, tracked and verified all materials used on the project to ensure LEED compliance. DEB’s diligence partnered with a well-executed design, created a building that achieved amazing results. Key highlights include an energy efficiency resulting in 68.3% savings in comparison to Title 24-2005, photovoltaic panels on the roof offsetting 52.05% of the annual proposed site energy use and 77% of construction debris diverted from landfills. Other accomplishments included the combined recycled content value of all materials on site was 22.36%; also 3.24% of materials used on site were rapidly renewable (cotton insulation, bamboo ceilings). Since the completion of this project, DEB has completed numerous additional LEED projects and has since mandated that all Project Managers in our firm become certified LEED APs.Project Highlights:• First LEED Platinum Banking center in the country.• Only needed 52 points to achieve a Platinum rating yet received 62 out of 69 possible.
