Commonwealth Bank was my first job in the banking industry; I picked up a lot of great knowledge of banking products. I was taught how process lending applications, gathering information on a customers financial situation, ability to service loans and making sure they had financial protection with personalised insurance products. It was where found out how much customer satisfaction was important in our industry and how your actions and knowledge can affect your customer.

Of all the jobs I have had this was the most sales intensive. We had to set specific financial goals at the beginning of each month and create a plan of how to achieve this by the end of each month. I had to find and manage my own clients and finances. Dealing with an extremely wide range of individuals all with different needs and personalities, making sure as well as meeting my business goals that each client also reached their fitness goals. I strengthened my business by learning different skills such as boxing and massage. I had to have perfect time management skills to be able to juggle 35 hours of one-on-one training per week. My communication skills had to be top quality.
