I was 22 and I had just finished helping my little sister with her algebra revision when no one else could, including people who knew a lot more about the subject than me.I knew that I had been able to help, because I instinctively knew how to communicate it in a way she would understand.Reflecting on it after I realised that my core skill is my ability to coach people toward their goals.As a leader the more robust this skill, the higher functioning your unit is. All of the success I have had in my career has come from honing this skill and supporting my teams. In that respect, people are my passion.
