I am a graduate of both the State of Oklahoma Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) Police Academy and the Federal Police Academy at Fort Sill. I received my Intermediate Law Enforcement Certification in 2007 and my Advance Law Enforcement Certification in 2011. I am a graduate of the Criminal Investigation Academy.I graduated Cum Laude from Cameron University in May 2004 with Bachelor of Science and Associate’s of Applied Science Degrees in Criminal Justice. While attending Cameron, I was a member of Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society and Gamma Upsilon, the Cameron University Criminal Justice Honor Society as well as a member of the Cameron Criminal Justice Association. I am a Lifetime Member of the DAV.I graduated from Davidson High School in 1982. I joined the United States Marine Corps in 1984. I served in several duty stations in the United States, the Far East, SW Asia, and Europe during my 14+ year tenure. I was awarded several medals and commendations for professional achievement. I was honorably discharged from the Marines in 1999 after suffering injuries during training.Upon leaving the Marines, I returned to my Tillman County home where I joined the Frederick Police Department and served as a patrolman until 2001. I then joined the Tillman County Sheriff’s Department as a deputy until 2002. I served with the Tipton Police Department as the Assistant Chief of Police until 2004. After completing college, I worked as an Institutional Case Manager at the Victory Field Correctional Academy in Vernon, Texas before becoming a Federal Police Officer for the Department of Army, Directorate of Emergency Services at Fort Sill. In January, 2007, I rejoined the Frederick Police Dept. In January 2015, I went to work for the Oklahoma Dept. of Corrections as a Probation & Parole Officer assigned to the Altus, Oklahoma office servicing Jackson County. In February 2016, I was transferred to the Hobart, Oklahoma office.
