My primary roles are tech support, assembly and fulfillment. I use my knowledge of computers and my electrical engineering background to improve hardware products and otherwise build and support their users. I'd like to think that I take pride in all aspects that I am involved in but I do anything I can to make sure that users of the custom hardware I am.

Division 8

I have been hired as temporary assistant staff with the same Group/Divisions I worked for in my CO-OP. I expect to be working on various projects in support of Division 8 (Mostly Solid State Devices) for at least a year term.

In general I support the IC + PCB CAD tool users. In specifics I designed a tutorial for a new simulation flow and did some standard cell design in a state-of-the-art low-power SOI CMOS process. The simulation flow I am speaking of is Cadence's AMSD (Analog Mixed Signal Designer) for combining SPICE models and HDL to speed up high level simulations.

I am a co-op student (ending soon) in Group 87 under Division 8. My group's specialty is Advanced Imaging Technology. My main expertise and purpose here is full custom CMOS VLSI design in the Cadence Design Systems suite.

I was a lab assistant to Professor Krishnan, who came to Wentworth from Mass General to develop a Biomedical Engineering Program. My main purpose was to test possible choices for lab equipment from Heath Kit. I also wrote and suggested curriculum for lectures and laboratory experiments. I gained a basic insight into biomedical electronics and human.

I was responsible for the service department working under the service manager and assistant service manager. I was mostly left to manage the department on my own, assisting the employees and customers and resolving problems (some of a technical nature). I also trained the majority of the staff how to use a newly purchased computer/cash register system..
