My background in performance analysis means I can quickly assess benefits and costs, and my risk based approach to design management adds rigour and legitimacy to sustainability claims. I have a strong design ethos. I enjoy tackling complex problems, and I have been a significant driver of change in New Zealand's building industry since 2007, having key advisory roles for government and industry bodies, delivering lectures, writing articles, and undertaking research, particularly in the realm of sustainable development and climate futures.This has fostered in me a big picture view of development; with a knack for creatively challenging the status quo.
