Safety CoordinatorEdison Chouest Offshore Jul 2007 - Mar 2018· Train employees in Confined Space Awareness, Rigging, Orientation, Defensive Driving, Forklift Operations, and Manlift Operations.· Completes audits on Fire Extinguishers, Confined Space Operations, Confined Space Rescue Gear, SCBA 30 min/5 min air packs, Forklifts, and Cranes. I also inspect PPE such as hard hats, full body harnesses, self-retracting lifelines, etc.· Conduct weekly safety meetings on OSHA related topics and conduct quarterly emergency drills such as fire, man overboard, and spill drills. I turn in weekly reports to supervisors on my daily activities.· Write Permits to Work, make and spot check JSAs. I have developed trending reports based on incidents, JSAs, Pre-Jobs, etc. for the HSE department and/or customers.· Worked in all aspects of the Port Facilities and have served as a liaison between our company and the major oil companies at the port.
