Completed and passed a client weld test piece using UT in order to flaw detect critical vessels. Responsible for undergoing critical NDT tasks and guiding the less experienced. Testing a variety of components throughout the GROWHOW shutdown for CF Fertilisers to aid in ensuring the integrity of the plant. Utilising Eddy Current and UT skills on pipeline systems, vessels and tanks.

Axiom Engineering Associates Ltd in the UK and abroad. Primarily this was NDT examination of vessels and piping systems on chemical sites, steel works and power stations. Most tasks were under the instruction of the inspector. Axiom is a UKAS accredited independent inspection body providing inspection and testing services to comply with UK pressure systems regulations.

Edf Heysham

EDF Heysham turnaround. Conducting NDT on a range of power generation equipment. Being the nuclear sector this was carried out under strict NDT procedures with extensive validation prior to, and during, the outage period.

Hartlepool

Carried out NDT tasks for MISTRAS UK on sites throughout the UK including acting as NDT supervisor. This included supporting pipeline and vessel inspection tasks with qualified API 570 & 510 inspectors gaining over 3 years’ experience.

Iraq

Responsible for the management of security operation in the northern Arabian gulf. Working directly with clients ensuring a safe and secure work place for pipe laying operations. This consisted of controlling several security teams, assessing and planning the security on dozens of vessels and liasing with local Iraqi forces.
