Produce Operations Specialist 03/2015 – Present Shoppers Bowie, MDResponsible for sales, shrink results and performance of 18 produce departments in the Baltimore area. Work with each manager to effectively manage sales, purchases and controlling shrink in every aspect. Also responsible for cultivating talent for promotion to the next level. Duties include:• Monitoring sales for improvement over previous year’s sales and looking for every opportunity to increase sales with better freshness conditions, maintaining variety, cleanliness, customer service and overall department conditions.• Monitor shrink performance every period and review results with each manager. Determine which 2 stores will be my shrink focus stores so a complete deep dive can be executed to evaluate strengths and weakness and where improvement can be made.• Reviewing credits that are called in by each store and counseling managers when they are not executing effectively.• Checking that each department is following model store expectations and following all health and state regulations.Since October of 2016 I have been on special assignment working out of the corporate office in Bowie. I was responsible for overseeing the conversion of the 22 Shop and Save East stores that were purchased and converting them to the Shoppers format. I was responsible for pricing and gross profit of the entire DSD categories and beer and wine. I am also responsible for completing store closings due to low performance. I closed a SNSE store in February and in the process of closing 3 Shoppers stores in the Virginia area. I oversee the entire process from start to finish by controlling the purchases and inventory levels. Transferring product out to sister stores prior to giving a 30% off deduction to our guests to lower the inventory levels.

Responsible for overseeing store operations of all mass departments for 18 stores in district #3. Assist stores in all ways possible to improve sales, reduce shrink and maintain company standards for conditions. Responsible for controlling, planning and reporting on the retail space of 56 stores spanning more than 300,000 square feet. I create and maintain many store configurations, edit any store’s layouts, map the physical store down to the bay level and create and map stocking section. I also efficiently manage categories, demographics, fixtures, vendors, and manufacturers as well as track the size and location of product categories. Duties include capturing complete details of each retail outlet in the chain and generating an entire suite of reports. I am very efficient in multiple software applications used to import data from AutoCAD drawings, or store data and package engineering drawings at various levels. Using these techniques and my unique abilities I was able to complete the acquisition and remodels of sixteen (16) facilities within one year.
