Led a dedicated team in dissecting company KPIs across finance, engineering, regulatory, marketing, and manufacturing. Supported aviation risk analysis through the use of multiple data streams including weather, air traffic, and US airspace boundaries. Analyzed tracks of millions of civil and military aircraft in the United States to assess risk of conflict between UAS and crewed aircraft.

As part of a cooperative agreement between NOAA and NC State University, I worked with the North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies, based at the National Centers for Environmental Information in Asheville, NC. I provided a wide variety of data-related services to researchers within both academia and government, including retrieval of datasets, organization of multiple data streams into merged products, and long-term statistics and trends. I often employed the same methods to conduct independent research on topics such as public health and climate impacts to various industries. I have also been highly involved in the Department of Defense's Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP), using in-situ, remotely sensed, and climate model data to investigate trends and relationships between extreme rainfall and other atmospheric variables. For NCSU, I was also highly active in outreach and engagement, visiting schools throughout western North Carolina to explain what climate science is about and what the career entails.

While attending courses, I studied the transition from warm cloud to rain, and the factors which govern when a cloud begins to rain, using an array of instrumentation in the Pacific Ocean.
