ASC Industries is a leader in automotive water pump manufacturing in OEM, OEM Service, as well as the aftermarket sector. My position includes managing OE suppliers around the globe with regards to quality issues, audits and PPAP approvals. I also deal directly with Ford GM and Chrysler Engine plants in responding to and managing Quality concerns. Work within the APQP process on new product development. Tear down analysis on warranty return items. Inspection on prototype parts and PPAP samples. Create customer PPAPs ranging from revision and process changes through full level three initial submissions at SORP. Process measurement data for machine capability analysis for new equipment run offs as well as analysis for trouble shooting internal processes. Manage containment and sorting activities both internally and at customer and supplier locations. Generate and distribute internal quality alerts used on production floor. Participate in IATF16949 audit activities as well as OE customer audits and reviews. Our team has achieved Ford Q1 status and BIQS level 3 Certification with General Motors. I also revise and update FMEA and control plan documents as needed when implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement activities. I continue to stay active in CMM programming and training QA techs in CMM programming and operation. Every day is an adventure and I am always learning something new.

Colfor Manufacturing is an OEM supplier of machined components including transmission shafts, CV joints, pinions, counter shafts, wheel hubs, and axles to name a few. My position required first article inspection with a wide variety of gauging. PPAP layouts. Gage calibration and repair including touch probe gages and vision systems. CMM programming fluent in multiple software packages. Perthometer profile gage programming. Dock audits. CNC operator training with regards to quality issues such as gauging and SPC. Traveled internationally for machine run offs to perform machine capability analysis on site. Also had experience running CNC lathes and grinders prior to promotion into the quality department.
