Tactical Operations Advisor and subject matter expert for aviation implementation, operations, risk management, and providing advice and assistance to the Taiwan military in the AH-64E Apache helicopter. Provide analysis and provide classroom instruction on all aspects of the helicopter, teaching the Tactical Pilot course as well as the Aviation Mission Planning course in the classroom and the Longbow Crew Trainer (Simulator).

Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) and the Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasure (ATIRCM). Provides over the shoulder maintenance and repair support to Army aviation mechanics on the CMWS and ATIRCM systems. He provides logistics support to Program Manager Aviation Survivability Equipment (PM ASE) which includes packing, wrapping, and shipping of PM ASE equipment. Provides moderately complex technical installation support to field technicians. Responds to, reviews and approves operational quality of system equipment. Conducts site surveys of customer sites, and plans and designs systems’ installations. Resolves moderately complex customer application questions or problems regarding system configurations/setup, product functionality and/or bugs enhancements. Assists in testing user configurations for system compatibility. Documents and provides support, as well as escalates issues to appropriate personnel to ensure that the system is functioning according specifications. Acts as liaison between project engineer team members, customers, and installation teams to ensure the project is implemented seamlessly. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and applies logical solutions to installation problems. Also assists in the training of customers on systems applications.

Coordinated, standardized and implemented air ground integration with ground maneuver units and developed realistic target arrays in coordination with ground commanders. Implemented and utilized the Longbow Crew Trainer and crew conduct of fire training of assigned combat crews and all supported aviators. Ensured all unit aviators were trained and proficient in combat gunnery skills in all environments. Served as tactical and technical expert collecting, analyzing, and advising superiors on tactics, techniques, and procedures, Aviation Mission Survivability Program, and Aircraft Survivability Equipment. Responsible for a consolidated Tactical Operations/FLT Planning cell that supports five flight companies with three different airframes, and five different missions as well as an Air Traffic Control Company.
