Coordinated Healthy Silicon Valley, a collaborative of over 100 member organizations, to promote healthy living in Santa Clara County Developed annual work plans, facilitated meetings & trainings and lead staff and numerous organizations to achieve Healthy Silicon Valley’s strategic plan Oversaw the administration of Healthy Silicon Valley, including grant monitoring & reporting, special projects, evaluations and internal/external communication Successfully lead the planning, coordination and execution of the 2007 and 2008 Healthy Silicon Valley annual conferences. In particular, developed the goals, theme and content of the 2008 conference that sought to bridge silos between the health and environment sectors. The events met or exceeded attendance goals and conference objectives Effectively advocated for cities in Santa Clara County to incorporate health policy language in their General Plan Updates. For example, engaged with the City of Mountain View to include specific health policy language and create a separate health implementation plan for their upcoming General Plan Update As part of a diverse team, supported the implementation of The Health Trust's Healthy Living, Healthy Communities and Healthy Aging Initiatives

 Execute an ambitious multi-tiered community education/recreation engagement initiative from the ground up.  Progressively building successful, high quality programs/services and structure of Rec Connect via best practices, managing and nurturing staff, long-term vision and determination. Successful in engaging CBOs and key gatekeepers in program development and community action projects. Latest fruition was spearheading a spring event that drew close to 1,000 attendees. Fully adept at balancing program budget which led to surplus due to being creative and resourceful. Proven ability to realize the complex goals of the initiative and exceeding high expectations of initiative committee. By end of the year, will meet or surpass outreach, event, participant, and program activity goal
