I managed a 200-300 acre private estate, making sure everything was running and up to speed; coordinating appointments from contractors for various professional purposes (ie: heating and cooling, phone systems, landscaping, electrical work, etc..), as well as mediating any problems or setbacks that occurred in a timely and professional manner. During the summer, I would supervise two employees. I made monthly credit card reports, kept and sent in invoices, organized and turned in employee time cards, kept contractors on schedule through all seasons, dealt with many different types of people and problems (every day was different), e-mailed updates to my superiors on a daily basis, and spent hours outside doing what manual labor was required in order to keep everything as pristine as was expected of me.

I maintained horse pastures by mowing and dragging when necessary. Reported to my boss every morning and weed whipped, weeded, shoveled, and cleaned up everything that was expected of me. I repaired pasture fencing, performed novice electrical tasks (installing light fixtures, switches, thermostats, and receptacles etc..). Maintained good rapport with co-workers and supervisors.

I began as a banquet server, tending to a specific set of tables during each event. Moved up to a dining room server, learning the ins and outs of wines, liquors, and beers, as well as building up on my communication skills. Over time, I began to fill whatever role was required of me in the building, working whenever they needed me, setting up banquets, moving furniture, signing invoices for contractors. Established good rapport with members and co-workers and ultimately left as a result of their having an "off-season", a three month period between January and April when they had no work.
