Current-Designed parts and assemblies for multiple unique pipeline inspection tools, including a 24" Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT) tool, a 4 inch Magnetic Flux Leakage and Deformation (MFL/DEF) tool, a 10" EMAT tool and a range of sizes of Speed Control tools.-Designed pressure vessels as well as support and lifting equipment that met published industry standards.-Successfully integrated new components with existing assemblies.-Created drawings and participated as an active member of the drawing review team responsible for verifying the proper use of GD&T (per ASME Y14.5-2009), tolerance analysis, strengths analysis and drawing format for parts and assemblies.-Designed testing fixtures to simulate aggressive environmental conditions and conducted various tests to ensure new parts performed as designed.-Planned and scheduled manufacturing of parts and organized the assembly of multiple tools. -Lead a cross-disciplined team as the Project Engineer for the verification a 10” Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT) pipeline inspection tool.-Developed and implemented process improvements for the assembly and set up of the EMAT tool.-Organized process plans and lead a daily stand-up meeting to ensure tasks were prioritized and an efficient workflow was followed.-Responsible for the 3D Printer operation and maintenance fulfilling R&D and manufacturing needs.
