As a member of a three person team Mr. Wilson supported approximately 150 users in a mixed environment of Windows 7 and Apple devices. His first responsibility was to rebuilding the network environment that had been badly neglected for over six years. As a major contributor to the team that planned a completely new infrastructure for New America, Mr. Wilson was deeply involved in the selection of five new servers all Windows 2012 R2 a Barracuda SPAM filter and two Dell SonicWall firewalls. Mr. Wilson deployed and configured all five servers as Domain controllers, File server, VM server using Hyper-V, Backup server and an Apps server. He devised and executed a plan to transferred 1TB of data from a failing file server to a new file server. This was completed with almost complete transparence to the end users. Mr. Wilson configured and deployed a D2D backup server using Symantec 2014 backup Exec with 21TB capacity. He was part of the team that configured a Barracuda SPAM filter, two Dell SonicWalls with VPN LAN access and a McAfee 5.0 ePO Antivirus server. He also administered a Mitel phone system. Mr. Wilson has long experience with AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, RDS, IIS, LAN\WAN networks, server deployment, configuration, maintenance and desktop support and the day to day operations of an IT support team.

Mr. Wilson led a team of four persons supporting approximately 400 users in two different locations in Washington, DC, supporting the FAA. Directed and coordinated the overall operation and maintenance of 30 network storage, web, print, and database servers in a Windows 2003 and 2008 R2 environment. Presided over the installation, configuration, and deployment of domain controllers, Active Directory, GPO, OU, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Domain Trusts, IIS ,DMZs and centrally administrated End Point antivirus software in a LAN/WAN intranet environment and desktop support as needed. Maintained backup and restoration of data utilizing Symantec Backup Exec 12.5\2012 in a disk to disk and tape library system. Mr. Wilson configured and maintained Watch Guard firewalls and administered a Verizon VoIP phone system. Mr. Wilson worked closely with the FAA to satisfy security requirements in their LAN\WAN intranet environment. He also supported nine conference rooms with wireless internet conductivity, desktop and projector support.

Mr. Wilson was responsible for all three levels of helpdesk support in a Windows Server NT 4.0, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation environment for 400+ users. Primarily responsible for the deployment of workstations, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of all network, hardware, software, and network printer issues. He utilized DAT tape backup system in conducting system backups and data restoration. Maintained and supported four conference rooms. Carried out the administration of phone and voice mail system
