Effectively coordinate the Credit Administration function. Lead the development and communication of a clear, consistent credit culture championing the achievement of Bankwide Loan Quality Standards. -Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with senior leaders in commercial and retail to ensure the maintenance of a quality loan portfolio and assess the portfolio management abilities of individual Commercial, Small Business, and Retail Bankers.-Effectively manage a portfolio of “Challenged Loans” to successfully collect the loan or return it to satisfactory relationship. Provide advice and guidance to bankers on challenged credits before they are moved to a work- out stage. -Foster quality internal and external services, as well as adherence to loan policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.-Coordinate the financially challenged review program, the loan portfolio review program, and field audits.-Leader of Loan Quality Resource Team, member of Loan Quality Monitoring Team and, Chair of Officers’ Loan Committee.-Monitor the adequacy of the loan loss reserve based upon the banks desired methodology. Deliver quarterly presentations on the loan loss reserve adequacy to the bank Chair, CEO, CFO and one outside director and then to the entire bank board of directors. Develop and implement the loan loss reserve adequacy based upon the new CECL regulation prior to its required implementation date. -Lead department personnel in the management of bank owned real estate (ORE) to maximize collection upon sale.

• Manage the organization’s Consumer Underwriting program to ensure that proper consumer regulations as well as bank approval methodology are maintained• Manage the organization’s Commercial Underwriting program to ensure that loans are properly structured, risk ratings are accurately assigned, and thorough analysis is completed to provide Loan Committee members with the necessary information to make sound decision-making• Manage the organization’s appraisal department to create an efficient and effective process.• Responsible for the creation and distribution of concentration reports which includes NAICS, Construction, Federal Call Code to assist with the risk monitoring of a $595 million loan portfolio
