As the Global Projects Organization Learning & Performance Director within BP Upstream, I was responsible for the development of training initiatives directly related to GPO and ensuring that developed training is appropriately aligned to GPO business priorities and strategic objectives working closely with GPO Discipline Capability and HR. I also acted as an internal consultant to aid in the identification of potential solutions to address GPO performance related issues from a holistic/systemic perspective.

• Manage learning and development projects through the ADDIE life cycle including all project schedules, scope, resources, timelines, and risks.• Manage portfolio of projects for assigned lines of business to address identified strategic business objectives.• Interface with customers to define business needs to determine suitability of projects to meet strategic business objectives and scope desire project outcomes.• Aid in the development of instructional design and development metrics to determine department efficiencies and benchmark against industry standards.• Facilitate relationships and project communications with identified stakeholders and business partners to ensure project progression meets expectations and agreed timetables.• Manage project documentation to track project progression and report project metrics to internal and business stakeholders.• Work with internal process stakeholders to identify process weaknesses and help determine solutions to address encountered weaknesses.

• Lead developer of enterprise Web-based applications (winner of NASA’s Team Space Flight Awareness Award, Space Act Award, One NASA Award, and JSC Group Acheivement Award) which have been used for the Orbital Space Plane Program, Space Shuttle’s Return to Flight and is currently used by the Space Shuttle Program, International Space Station Program, Johnson Space Center, Cargo Mission Contract, Bioastronautics, Constellation Program and JSC transition efforts. • Serve as manager of the software development team, perform employee evaluations and management administration. • Serve as lead and senior developer on various projects to architect/design, develop and deploy various Web-based applications and Websites for NASA programs and educational institutions. • Perform project management duties for various projects through the management of project resources, creation of project schedules, development of project plans, development of requirements, development of interface control documents, management of the development cycle for deliverables, and serving as customer interface for software development teams. • Design and develop training applications and Web-based simulations for college level courses for petrochemical industry and design/develop Web-based instructional content/multimedia for grades 5-8 in the areas of math and science. • Design and develop the software development process in support of internal quality management system. • Facilitate user training for developed software.• Function as internal quailty auditor.
