Accountability centred on quality management to guarantee the best-finished quality of the export product, and product loss and downtime minimisation to generate strong results.HIGHLIGHTS:• Broke the monthly production record, achieving the business’ highest output record in just the fourth month with the company. This record still stands today as the highest monthly production output in the company’s 21-year history.• Instituted multi-pronged product quality improvements, resulting in higher quality and better-presented product arriving at the overseas destination, and reduced overall product loss and zero packaging production downtime.• Drove down COGS and implemented a technological solution which automatically calibrated and adjusted optimised product input quantities to ensure shipping containers were no longer exported critically under-weight.
