I am an education professional and Salesforce Administrator who loves to get out and explore what the world has to offer! With nearly 10 years experience as both an international educator and team administrator, I have a passion for both teaching and learning, and thrive in environments where I get to work alongside others and actively contribute as part of a team. I am a highly reflective and analytical person, who is never simply content with finding a solution to a problem, but always strives to understand the 'why' behind that solution. My interest in tech began during COVID in 2020, when we abruptly transitioned to full-time online teaching. I was astounded by the amount of quality tech available to support young learners through this transition. My exploration into software development led me to Salesforce, and I am now excited by the prospect of kick-starting my Salesforce career, and continuing to develop my own skills in order to build sustainable Salesforce solutions, to solve real-world problems.Outside of tech, I have a passion for travel and the outdoors. I enjoy getting out in nature, be it walking, cycling or grabbing a camera to take some photos. I also enjoy a game of squash and a bit of cooking.

Orchard WorkerThe Fresh Fruit Company Of New Zealand (Freshco Ltd) Oct 2021 - Mar 2022Puketapu, Hawke’S Bay, New ZealandBetween returning to New Zealand, and awaiting the start of the Dev Academy Aotearoa program in April 2022, I had the pleasure of working out in the Hawkes Bay sunshine at some of Freshco's leading orchards.The role involved strong attention to detail whilst collaborating, communicating and working alongside people from diverse backgrounds for tasks such as tree pruning, training and thinning. The highlight of the job was undoubtedly the fast passed harvest season between January and March where I provided tractor support to teams of up to 30 RSE workers. This involved communicating with other team members to ensure apple bins were organised set up appropriately throughout the orchard, workers were supported with bin relocations while picking, and full bins were carefully transported out of the summer heat into the loading areas. -
