Holds the honor to represent District 5 on the Jackson City Council. Approve legislation to affect the municipal government. Pass an annual budget. Directly assist constituents in any and all needs pertaining to the City of Jackson. Implemented summer youth initiatives that include a mentoring program and summer jobs program. Worked with interested parties to bring the first public dog park to Jackson. Assist in economic development of the city by providing a business friendly environment and working with existing business expansions. Analyze and listen to concerns about the overall well-being of the city to determine the best aciton steps for continued improvement. Serving as vice-mayor for the 2014-15 year.

Designs, implements, and evaluates fundraising goals, plans, activities, and strategies. Provides support to the Foundation's Fund Committees. Understands Endowments, Planned Giving, and Fundraising Prinicples. Supports, manages, and trains volunteers and new fund committee members. Develops and maintainseffective communications and relationships with potential financial donors. Develops and manages solicitation and gift giving processing to include tracking and reporting. Prepares and manages Donor First Validation and coordinates Willing to Help Employee Fundraising Campaign. As a member of the management team, participates in and planning decision making relative to programs and overall operations. Takes a leading role in recording and managing corporate sponsorhips. Develops infrastructure necessary to support expanded fundraising inititatives.

Managed all facets of Lane College’s federal, private and institutional loan programs, ensuring program integrity and compliance with all federal, state and institutional regulations and policies. Worked closely with the Director of Financial Aid to manage the electronic processes for all loan programs, including the transmission of loan data files with Department of Education and EdConnect, NSLDS transfer monitoring and issue resolution, ELM private loan certification and disbursement;Additional responsibilities include: maintain private loan lender information and necessary federal loan disclosures on web. Coordinate all aspects of the loan process from certification or origination to disbursement of funds. Work closely with the Department of Education, ELM, all private lenders, students, parents, faculty and staff in the resolution of loan issues. Additionally, responsible for timely year-end closeout of Direct Loan Programs and ensuring default rates remain in compliance with federal guidelines.

Reported to the Director for Enrollment Management. Program coordination responsibilities include coordination and support of certain invitational programs of the Office of Admissions, as well as some others in conjunction with the Office of Student Affairs; also coordinates communication with the high school and independent counseling communities. Admissions recruitment, counseling, outreach and application review.Represented Lane College both on- and off-campus to a prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process. Plan and implement recruitment activities for assigned high schools and territories, including travel to distant sites in the state of Tennessee, as well as the states of Ohio, Texas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Maryland, Washington, D.C., New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Mississippi, Virginia, and Arizona.Counseled prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at Lane College. Provided one-on-one admissions counseling to diverse populations. Coordinated and contributed to the success of various student visit programs designed to recruit targeted prospective applicants to Lane College
