Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual management and regulatory reports for the bank’s equity investments, with specific emphasis on Global Principal Investments. Coordinate with other finance associates and the line of business to ensure proper reporting and understanding of the accounting for equity investments. Prepare plan and forecast for line of business as well as perform variance analysis versus plan and forecast on related balance sheet and income statement items. Ensuring the bank’s total equity investments are reconciled from general ledger to sub-ledger.

Reporting to the CFO, primary responsibilities include managing journal entries, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, accounts receivable and monthly cash disbursements and receipts. Secondary responsibilities include working with property managers on budgets and cash flow analysis.Key Result:• Implemented procedures to change manual processes such as management fee calculation and tenant late fees to an automated process within MRI Property Management software.

Provided support to department heads with specific responsibility for the processing, recording, updating and reconciling fiscal information in compliance with established policies; providing instructions, recommendations and/or accounting support to other personnel; and analyzing expenditures against budget.Key Result:• Created procedures within QuickBooks to track inventory that would trigger reorder points based on customer orders.
