Gliding fluidly from the studio to the stage and back again, Scott deftly covers all aspects of sound production. From live production to studio recording and mixing, post-production, radio and TV spots, sound design, and broadcast, Scott is a natural musician acting as an extension of the artist.LIVE SOUNDFor the past 10 years Scott has been the live sound mixer for the Annie Moses Band, a classical crossover group consisting of highly skilled string players (violin, viola, cello, mandolin, and harp) with a modern rhythm section. Arrangements are thick and detailed with complex harmonies. Lyrics are thoughtful and poetic. Performances often include choirs, full orchestras, and guest artists. This has provided a unique opportunity to specialize in providing very musical, natural, high fidelity mixes, whether at Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry House, or anywhere in between. In addition, he has had the pleasure of mixing for many additional artists including Hunter Hayes, Michael Ray, the Gospel Music Hall of Fame Awards, Frankie Ballard, Selah, Mike Farris, Sandy Patti, Larnelle Harris, Michael O'Brien, and others.Previously, he mixed for many professional theater productions, including West Side Story, Beauty and The Beast, Jekyll and Hyde, Smokey Joe's Cafe, and Cabaret.STUDIO SOUNDScott provided mixes for many of the songs on The Annie Moses Band's release, American Rhapsody, as well as provided stereo and surround mixes for their PBS special, "The Art of The Love Song." He has recorded and mixed many artists, including Selah's "Live From Blackbird Studio" EP. He has provided TV and Radio spots for the AMB, and location sound and audio post for several TV pilots. He was the Chief Audio Engineer at the former ManAlive Studios, a Livestream capable 4k video and DSD audio multi-track facility.
