The series was published nationwide via the USA Today Network and won the Kevin Carmody Award for Outstanding In-depth Reporting from the Society of Environmental Journalists' national competition. The NJ Attorney General sued DuPont in March 2019 for its pollution in Pompton Lakes and credited the series. Co-authored "The War On Plastics" - an ongoing series showing how plastics pollution is inundating New Jersey's beaches, rivers and wildlife. Chosen as the keynote speaker at a 2019 Rutgers University conference on "Impacts of Microplastics in the Urban Environment."Appeared regularly on WNYC - America's most listened-to public radio station - including "Morning Edition," "All Things Considered," "The Midday Show" and "All of It with Alison Stewart."
