Served as the senior operations officer for a 900 person Joint Task Force that spearheaded the US response providing earthquake relief to Nepal.

California & Iraq

Developed and supervised the training and deployment of a reinforced Marine infantry battalion. Led 1300 Marines during a 7 month combat deployment to Iraq to include cognizance over all basing life support functions. Responsible for the transition of security to the Iraqi security forces, the nurturing of economic development, the establishment of governance and rule of law and the responsible retrograde of Marine forces and equipment from the region.

Okinawa, Japan

Directed and supervised the camp staff to support a 700 person base located in Okinawa, Japan. Maintained a positive relationship with local community through a carefully developed outreach program and organized based support functions for a major renovation project. Working closely with each functional section, focused the staff on the necessary preparations to expand the base's population by 3,000 personnel.

Afghanistan

Formed an 18-man team to deploy to Afghanistan and work along side Afghan forces. Developed, coordinated and conducted required pre-deployment preparations, adding two new training venues. Worked alongside Afghan army forces to provide local security along Pakistani border; supported the development of local governance and fostered sustainable capacity within the Afghan security forces.

Okinawa, Japan

Actively tracked the status and movements of deployed teams and units for an organization consisting of 26,000 personnel across the western Pacific. Allocated organizational resources based mission prioritization and executive leadership's guidance.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

Responsible for tracking and reporting Marine force deployments to senior Marine Corps leaders, receiving their intent and ensuring it was incorporated into service level policies and positions. As Deputy Director for Crisis Response Center, responded daily to requests for service-level support from forward deployed combat forces.
