As a Technology Director, my primary focus had been the management of our 40+ person Development team in Calgary. This entailed direct mentorship, resourcing, recruiting and project/team oversight. As a tech representative engaged with multiple delivery teams, I helped define scope and timelines in order to fulfill project requirements and ensure their successful delivery. My direct engagement with clients meant regularly crafting and delivering client presentations to sell in ideas and new work for the technology team. On top of that, I also operated as a practitioner, leading remote work for a globally renowned brand and supporting project planning.

For two years, I led and grew CM’s Technology team in their newly founded Cupertino office where we were directly embedded with a globally renown brand. During that time I played two roles: project/team lead for the client and discipline lead for Critical Mass. As a project/team lead, I helped launch work for several project teams for the client's marketing and communications department. As a manager for Critical Mass, I was responsible for active recruitment, project/team resourcing and working with other office leadership to manage our client relationships. Additionally, I worked with both the client and CM office lead to create a remote development team to augment existing local development work.

As a Senior Developer, I previously lead and contributed to the conception, implementation, development and maintenance of numerous projects and campaigns. By working closely with the other disciplines in my teams, such as Strategy/Planning, User Experience, and Creative, I have been responsible for the successful development, launch and growth of multiple sites and experiences for clients including Sunglass Hut, LensCrafters, GoDaddy, Calgary Stampede and Nissan/Infiniti.

As a developer at Clickspace my main responsibilities included website planning/production, server management and the support of all active clients websites.

At MRU I was a member of a small team whose primary objective was the upkeep and maintenance of the universities websites. I was also responsible for several projects around campus. Including flash/XML integration with the main website, digital marketing/advertising for the IT department and the website training of numerous campus staff.

My main responsibility was the creation and maintenance of the college website. I utilized such tools as XHTML, CSS, Flash, ASP, JavaScript and DotNetNuke (CMS). In addition to the main site, I also acquired several other smaller jobs around the college (such as video and flash work) and the college’s other internal and external websites.

On a single term contract, I was tasked with instructing multiple Web Design and Media Production courses at Assiniboine Community College. The courses that I delivered were related to advanced Flash creation, After Effects and DVD Authoring. I was responsible for instruction, project tracking, and grading two classes of students in their final year of their diploma.
