Within this role, I provided support in monthly forecasting, development of annual and five year plans as well as participated in quarterly performance reviews and evaluation/pricing of new business programs. • Acted in the capacity of interim division controller for other divisions within Modine including taking on responsibility for developing carve-out financial statements for a business unit that Modine divested; worked closely with the external audit staff to certify the numbers in preparation of the filings with the SEC.

• Responsible for all plant controllership functions associated with a decentralized accounting structure including the coaching and development of 2 direct reports.• Participated in various special projects including:o Implementation of a foundry specific integrated ERP system (B&L Systems) ahead of schedule, which included documentation of controls. o Developed procedures to streamline the month end closing process. o Created several cost tracking and control mechanisms to allow the Plant and General Managers to better control key cost drivers.

• Responsible for configuration and project management of a systems implementation of the Kaba Benzing / AutoTime time, attendance and labor reporting system (bolt on to BaaN ERP). • Set standard costs and contributed to the annual budget process. • Served a 6 month term as interim Plant Accounting Supervisor at the Milwaukee Plant.

• Responsible for financial reporting, operational and capital budgeting, account and variance analysis, Economic Value Added (EVA) analysis of capital expense requisitions, review and analysis of product pricing, and maintenance of standard costs for Briggs and Stratton’s Die Cast Components Division.
