Directed a $14M sports technology business unit for the Active Network. The Active Network (Active.com) is the leading provider of online event registration and web-based management solutions. Their technology facilitates participation and streamlines events, reservations, payments, memberships, customer service, website content and more.. Worked with clients such as Little League Baseball, the National Football League, USA Hockey, US Youth Soccer, United States Tennis Association and other national and international sports organizations. Responsible for product, marketing and support strategies, P&L, competitor analyses and general day-to-day operations of the Sports business unit.

With no outside investment or venture capital backing, founded Hammerhead Communications in 1993 as a very early entry into the internet/website space. Over 14 years, developed company into a full service website/data management company servicing sports and non-profit companies and organizations and grew the company at a rapid, annual profit-increasing rate before selling the company to the Active Network in May of 2007.
