Scott oversaw T2's $1.5 billion portfolio of 18 hotels, focusing on maximizing the value of each asset through strategic asset management and investments. Highway West is a leader in acquiring, developing, and operating unique, well-appointed hotel, RV, and glamping experiences in highly desired locations throughout the western region of the US. As Director of Investments, Scott was responsible for acquisitions and dispositions, financing, development, asset management, and strategic oversight of the company's hospitality investments.Scott oversaw a $300 million real estate portfolio including 11 properties and 4 developments across California, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Hawaii, while actively pursuing value-add and opportunistic acquisition and development opportunities throughout the U.S.

White Lodging is a hospitality industry leader, combining development, ownership, and management into one continuously growing package. White Lodging managed more than 160 premium-branded, select and full service hotels in 20 states, totaling more than $1.5 billion in annual revenue during Scott's time with the company. As Director of Asset Management, Scott was responsible for maximizing the value of each asset in White Lodging's select-service portfolio through strategic long-term planning, identifying value enhancement opportunities and protecting ownership's investment capital. He was also responsible for business planning, forecasting, budgeting, evaluating new business development opportunities, strategic planning for acquisitions, new hotel openings, and underperforming assets.

HVS is the world’s premier hotel consulting and valuation firm with offices in North America, Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East. During his time at HVS, Scott conducted over 100 projects throughout the United States. These assignments included market and feasibility studies, development consulting, asset management, economic and fiscal impact studies, military lodging demand studies, and appraisals for hotels, resorts, and gaming facilities. His clients included lenders, investors, hotel operators, investment banks, REITs, private equity firms, state and local governments, and private developers.

Scott was responsible for managing 1,544 guestrooms and approximately 200 Rooms Department team members at the Hilton Chicago. Scott facilitated communication between the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments, and represented the Rooms Department in many phases of client and guest contact. Furthermore, he was responsible for monitoring compliance with Hilton brand standards and overseeing the guestroom inspection program.
