Support special processes and quality activities Enterprise wide. Provide assistance to the business units in audit preparation for special processes. Provides technical support to business units, and suppliers regarding special processes and material issues. Act as the quality interface and expert between the organization and its customers to proactively assure that their needs and expectations are understood and satisfied. Support Supply Chain Management and act as the quality interface, providing expertise and support to the business unit’s suppliers and partners. Drive supply chain to use fully compliant supplier network to reduce UTAS risk and the vetting of poor performing suppliers.

Responsible for developing and ensuring execution to the Goodrich Materials Compliance Strategy. Identify and address risk mitigation alternatives for substances identified as “at risk” by regulatory (REACh, RoHS and others), whereby a substance may be either eliminated or controlled in such a manner as to limit the ability to manufacture and sell products. Responsible for ensuring that specific metrics are being used and accounted for across the Business Units, and address changes with supply chain, engineering, Business Unit's operations and senior management.

Manage the Standardization of Materials and Process related topics for the Goodrich Enterprise. This includes initiating Corporate Specifications as well as leading a Committee for targeted substance alternatives. Material and Process support to the business units and failure analysis was performed as well.

Managed a team to maintain special processes for Landing Gear. This included in-house processing as well as supplier processing. Provided customer support on technical issues. Responsible for all welding, heat treatment and thermal spray of landing gear. Maintained a budget of $1 million.

Responsible for quality issues and worked on process improvement projects. Resolved customer welding issues.
