I am a dreamer. I believe in people. I think of life like a opportunity to have fun. Live an adventure. Experience new things, try new foods, meet new people and to find yourself. You only live one time, so why put yourself in a box and never enjoy life.In 2001 I graduated from Buchanan High School in Clovis, Ca. My dream was to create a better life for myself. I have wanted to run my own business since I was little. Stories of me going door to door selling rocks or mud pies was my common business plan, so i'm told. In 2002 I went to the Central Valley Incubator where I leaned the tools I needed to start-up, market, promote, find funding for my company and how to operate a business.This is around the time that my story begins. I soon found out that I had what I like to call a Learning Curve where when I read I had a issue. I soon realized that I might have dyslexia. This had me questioning if I was created to do big things like I thought. Being 19 I thought this is it, this is the end of Scott as I know it. How was I going to create this large company that I have always dreamed about? But that is when it hit me, use this handicap to better myself. So I had to come to the realization that I read like a 5th grader, but I was not going to let it get me down. I decided to do the one thing that changed my life... Become a Radio On-air personality. Yep the dyslexic DJ. I mean what was I thinking? That's all people do in radio is read. But I told myself, If I can do this, I can do anything. So I did it and for almost 10 years it has been my career. That career has opened many doors that I would have never been able to go through if I never took that step forward. I decided to create my blog just to allow others to see inside my life. Kind of like a peephole on a front door. I believe that if your transparent more people will see your drive and see that their challenges are just that, challenges.
