Because Stoke House Canada is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stoke House, based in California USA, a key part of the Country Manager’s role was to work in very close cross-department communication with headquarters.

Part freesports trade show (open to retailers and associated media) part public show, hosting the UK’s first World Cup of Skateboarding Event. Responsible for co-ordinating PR and Marketing campaign before the event and press liaison during the event. Designed Event poster used for press and street promotion prior to the event. Worked with sponsors on advertising at the event. Organized press, marshals and security at event.

Handled the day to day running of accounts that included, Swiss Tourist Board, Iceland Outback Tours, Swatch Watches, Burton Snowboards and Caterpillar Clothing. Organised press and promotional trips to various Swiss snowboard resorts. Responsible for organising sponsorship, media coverage, flights, accommodation, outerwear clothing and hard goods for all trips.
