Primary Responsibilities:Assumed the role of Product Owner as we transitioned away from traditional project management and into more of an agile project management environment.As the Product Owner I:* Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure their product vision comes to life with our development team.* Implement agile management ideals by facilitating management of the product backlog and becoming the voice of the client inside the team* Manage project timelines and communicate with management, staff, and clients to relay project progress.* Control scope by identifying product acceptance criteria and using change requests for additional scope.* Work closely with the Scrum Master to understand where each project is in the development life cycle for stakeholder updates, and answer questions from the development team regarding currently defined tasks and the client vision for the expected deliverable.* Help identify areas for efficiency improvements to our project management methodology including evaluating and recommending productivity tools and making recommendations for how the PM processes could be better.* Work with the sales team to review contract proposals before going to perspective clients to identify additional scope or tasks that may not be accounted for.* Act as the "jack of all trades" to do whatever it takes to get projects completed and to keep the clients satisfied. This means sometimes doing things outside of my job description but I prefer getting something completed, even if that means stepping out of my comfort zone.
